Connect Appointments are recruiting individuals to become a Warehouse Operatives with our Gateshead based logistics client, on a temporary to permanent basis. Please Note – The role is based at NE11 postal code area. Working as a Warehouse Operative: Night Shift: 5/6 nights out of 7 Working 1am to 9:30am Pay rate of £13.73 p/hYour responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative: Receiving goods at the loading/goods in dock Store received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt Sorting through various types of parcels Using hand-held scanners Ensuring tight deadlines are being met Keeping up to date with in house records Working efficiently as part of a team Adhering to strict health and safety precautionsTo be successful in this warehouse role you'll ideally have previous experience in a warehouse or other fast-paced environment.
