Job Description

Connect Appointments have a new opportunity with a well-known production business in Fife.

We're looking for a Team Leader to get started within their Cupar site.

What's on offer?

  • A full-time permanent position, working 40-hours per week
  • Working hours are based on a rota of day and back shift – with every second weekend off
  • Hours vary across 6:45am to 2pm; and 2:15pm to 10pm; and 06:45am 17:30pm
  • A salary of 32,000 to 36,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Working as a Team Leader within the production team, your duties will include, but not limited to:

  • Leading, motivating and engaging your team – always building a positive working environment
  • Managing your team's performance, ensuring they're meeting their targets
  • Encouraging and highlighting progression and training opportunities
  • Staff development, appraisals, and other HR functions
  • Maintain effective relationships with other teams across the business
  • Ensure effective cost management
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure Food Health and Safety at all times

To be successful in this Team Leader role, you will have the following skills, traits and experience:

  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Previous experience in a production/manufacturing, warehouse or related background
  • Have solid people skills and great communication
  • A basic level of computer literacy
