Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced Project/Contract Manager, within the Engineering sector, to join and strengthen our client's existing team in the North East of England. With a strong and varied customer base in a variety of industries, our client is a major independent door company specialising in the manufacture, installation, repair and maintenance of all types of Industrial Doors and Shutters, Steel Fabrication, and more.
Salary: £40,000 per annum (DOE)
Working as a Project/Contract Manager you will be in charge of planning, monitoring and supervising the repairs team within a fast-moving environment. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Liaising with customers to ensure projects are completed to their satisfaction
- Providing estimates and quotes based on client drawings and meetings
- Producing production drawings and running the fabrication section
- Managing project team
- Accounting for project cost, time and budget
- Mitigating project risks
- Conducting site inspections
To be successful within this role as a Project/Contract Manager you will have previous experience in a project management role, combined with the following skills and traits:
