Pay rates: £12.21 per hour
Schedule: 2pm to 10pm
As a Production Operator, you will work in hide preparation and in the yard on a rotational basis. You will be working in an environment where cattle are slaughtered, and you will be working with animal carcasses. Therefore, you must be comfortable and ready to work in this type of environment.
As a Production Operator, you will perform different duties with hide and in the yard.
- Transferring hides from slaughter hall to hide shed
- Preparing and storing the hides to specifications
- Curing hides
- Preparing and dispatching hide orders
- Ensuring all relevant paperwork is maintained and accurate
- Transferring innards/entrails from slaughter hall to relevant waste areas
- Supporting with deliveries and stock exchange
- Loading and unloading materials/deliveries
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working within a similar field
- Strong organisational skills
