Connect Appointments are recruiting a Production Operator to join our client\’s production team in Dalgety Bay. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual with experience in functional testing and assembly inspections.
What\’s on offer?
- Full‑time ongoing position
- Monday to Thursday, 7am to 5pm
- Paid weekly at £12.21 per hour
As a Production Operator, your main responsibility will be the functional testing of High Level and PCBA assemblies. With your day‑to‑day duties including:
- Reporting to the Production Supervisor
- Achieving test targets for throughput and quality
- Performing functional testing of High Level and PCBA assemblies
- Following provided specifications and standard operating procedures
- Using test equipment (familiarity is an advantage but not essential)
- Maintaining Health & Safety standards
- Operating equipment and machinery – only if trained and authorised
- Preserving product quality and complying with manufacturing standards, including planning documentation, work instructions, and IPC 610 workmanship standards
- Working efficiently to reduce waste and supporting continuous improvement
- Raising any safety, quality, or environmental concerns with your Manager
To be successful in this Production Operator role, you will have previous experience in assembly or functional testing – ideally including PCBA assembly. Other key skills, traits and experience include:
- Good attention to detail and understanding of quality standards
- Ability to follow instructions and work to specifications
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
- A proactive approach to safety, quality, and environmental responsibilities
