We're recruiting Production Operatives within the Broxburn area for ad hoc holiday and sickness cover, with one of our premium production and manufacturing clients.
We need people to cover the following shifts:
- Early shift: 6am to 2pm (Monday to Friday)
- Back shift: 2pm to midnight (Monday to Thursday)
- Weekend shift: 6am to 6pm (Friday to Sunday)
- All shifts are 12.30 per hour
Please Note – This is not a full-time ongoing position, this role is only a few shifts to cover some staff that are off on holiday.
Working as a Production Operative, your role will include:
- Operating filling equipment following company procedures
- Leading machine product changeovers
- Ensure that all bottles are produced to customer specifications
- Ensuring relevant quality documentation is completed in accordance with company standards
- Ensure all materials and machine components are handled with respect and reconciled
- Ensure machine and working areas are kept well maintained and clean
- Assist and support colleagues as required
To be successful within this production position, you will ideally have previous experience in a manufacturing, production or other similar environment. Combined with:
- Previous experience with labelling machines
- Strong team working skills
- A willingness to learn
- Basic knowledge of computer software
- A good attitude to work
