Job Description
Connect Appointments are seeking a number of Production Operatives to get started with our Shotts (ML7) based food production client.
What's on offer?
- 12.60 p/h (14.49 p/h after 8pm)
- Overtime paid from 21.94 to 28.98 p/h
- All breaks are paid!
- Ongoing temporary contract
Various shifts on offer:
- Option One: Monday to Thursday, 14:00 to 22:00 & Friday, 13:00 to 20:00
- Option Two: Monday to Wednesday, 14:00 to 00:00 & Thursday, 14:00 to 23:00
Working as a Production Operative, your duties will be centred around the preparation of a range of products, ensuring they meet company standards, customer's specifications and requirements.
Combined with the following duties:
- Working within various areas of the factory; preparing, making and packing quality food products
- To label products ensuring that all details, i.e., dates are accurate
- To pack final products into boxes/crates as per customer requirements
- To complete required quality sheets and production documentations accurately
- To observe good housekeeping within the area
- Completing all necessary paperwork to comply with food safety
- To do any other reasonable duties as required
To be successful within this production position you will ideally have previous experience working in a production/manufacturing environment. Combined with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions; good attention to detail; and strong time-keeping and organisational skills.
