Connect Appointments is recruiting a Materials Handler to join an established business based in the Auchterarder area.
Our client operates a busy warehouse facility, offering a structured 4-on 4-off shift pattern and immediate starts for experienced candidates -
please note that access to your own transport is essential due to the location of the site.
What's on offer?
Ongoing position with the opportunity for permanent employment
- 4-on 4-off shift pattern, working 6:45am to 7pm
- Paid weekly £14.31 per hour - overtime paid at £21.45 per hour
As a Materials Handler, your duties will include:
- Booking goods into stock and issuing stock for relevant jobs using handheld scanners
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Consolidating stock and returning items to designated storage locations
- Safely manoeuvring a Counterbalance forklift within a busy warehouse environment
- Maintaining accurate stock records and reading labels to identify correct goods
To be considered as a Materials Handler, you will need:
- A valid Counterbalance forklift licence is essential
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling environment
- Good attention to detail and numeracy skills
