A new opportunity has arisen with one of our Broxburn-based clients. We're seeking reliable individuals to become Packaging Operatives with our food production client.
What's on offer?
- A temporary ongoing opportunity - with a permanent role for the right candidate
- Working Monday to Friday, 06:20 to 14:40
- Paid weekly £12.21 per hour
Working as a Packaging Operative, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Picking and packing of products
- Monitoring quality control of products and raw material
- Using relevant production machinery and equipment
- Working on a fast-paced production line
- Manual handling and weighing of products
- Other general warehouse/labourer duties
To be successful you will have previous experience within a warehouse, production or manufacturing environment - full training is provided. Other desirable skills and traits include:
- The ability to safely and correctly stack goods on pallets for bulk shipments
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to spend long periods of time on your feet
- Ability to work on your own and in a team
- Excellent organisational skills
- Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
- Excellent time keeping
