Multi Skilled Fitter

Connect Appointments has a new opportunity for an experienced Multi Skilled Fitter (preferably with electrical bias) to undertake work with our Motherwell-based client.

Working out of their established facility, this is your chance to get started with one of the area's best-known companies!

Working as a Multi Skilled Fitter your duties will include, but not be limited to, providing essential support to the on-site operations by identifying opportunities to maximise efficiency within a fast-paced environment, collaborating with different teams within the business. You will also be responsible for:

• Using and maintaining specialised machines and tools
• Responding to day-to-day maintenance requests
• Providing assistance in projects
• Finding and fixing faults within the facility
• Carrying out planned maintenance checks

To be successful within this Multi Skilled Fitter position you will ideally have experience in a production, manufacturing or similar environmentd. Possession of relevant electrical qualifications is a must, which can include 18th Edition.

Other skills and traits that would be beneficial include:

• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to quickly and accurately conduct fault-finding activities
• Able to work on your own and as part of a team
• Able to understand both written and verbal instructions
