Connect Appointments has a new opportunity for an experienced Multi Skilled Engineer (ideally with an electrical bias) to undertake work with our Polmont-based client.

Schedule: Rotating between days, backs and nights

Working as a Multi Skilled Engineer your duties will include, but not be limited to, providing essential support to the production process by identifying opportunities to maximise efficiency, collaborating with different teams within the business. You will also be responsible for:

  • Using and maintaining specialised machines and tools
  • Responding to day-to-day maintenance requests
  • Providing assistance in projects
  • Finding and fixing faults within the facility
  • Carrying out planned maintenance checks

To be successful within this Multi Skilled Engineer position you will ideally have experience in a similar factory environment - Possession of relevant qualifications is a must, which can include 18th Edition.

Other skills and traits that would be beneficial include:

  • Knowledge of electrical, control or plant engineering
  • The ability to quickly and accurately conduct fault-finding activities
  • A valid driving licence (essential)
  • Able to understand both written and verbal instructions
