Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced Line Leader to join our client within their busy contract packing and production facility. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a key leadership role within a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
What's on offer?
- Monday to Thursday, 7am to 5:30pm (long weekend every week)
- Annual salary of 25,500, with a review in April 2026
- Full-time 12-month contract with a real potential to go permanent

Responsibilities:
- Leading, motivating and supporting a small crew across the production line
- Delivering the daily production plan and achieving output, speed and quality targets
- Setting up jobs, materials and documentation ahead of each shift
- Monitoring performance and resolving issues quickly to minimise downtime
- Carrying out in-process quality checks and escalating any issues
- Ensuring Health & Safety, hygiene, HACCP and site standards are always followed
- Managing breaks and task allocation to keep the line running efficiently
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working area
- Communicating clearly with the Production Manager and other teams
To be successful in this Line Leader position, you will have the following skills, traits and experience:
- Previous experience within production, contract packing, manufacturing or FMCG
- Experience leading a small team or acting as a key point of contact
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with a hands-on working approach
- Able to work under pressure while maintaining quality and productivity
- Good problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Basic IT literacy for recording production data
- Understanding of quality processes, food safety and Health & Safety requirements
- Qualifications such as Level 2 Food Safety, IOSH Working Safely or Manual Handling are desirable but not essential
