Connect Appointments has a new opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Shift Manager to undertake work with our Motherwell-based client on a permanent basis.
Salary: 36,253 per annum, up to 52,929 per annum (includes shift allowance)
Schedule: 2 days on, 2 nights on, 4 days off

Working as a Manufacturing Shift Manager your duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Leading the manufacturing teams to achieve a high rate of success and accuracy.
- Ensuring daily targets are being achieved.
- Coaching and developing staff to improve their skills.
- Providing support for training, disciplinary procedures and performance management.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant H&S legislation, as well as company standard procedures.
- Identifying and rectifying any quality discrepancies.
To be successful within this Manufacturing Shift Manager position, you will have a HNC/HND or equivalent experience in manufacturing, engineering or similar role.
Other skills and traits that are essential include:
- Excellent communication skills.
- IOSH Managing Safely.
- Able to understand both written and verbal instructions.
The ideal candidate may also have a NEBOSH certificate and lean manufacturing training, however these are not essential.
