Connect Appointments is recruiting Line Operatives to join an established food production business based in Middleton on a temporary basis, with the opportunity for permanent employment for the right candidates.
Our client operates a busy production facility, requiring physically capable individuals to support packing and warehouse operations across a Monday to Friday working week with an early Friday finish.
What’s on offer?
- Ongoing temporary position with the opportunity for permanent employment
- Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm and Friday, 8am to 2pm
- £12.71 per hour – paid weekly
Please note:
This role involves heavy lifting throughout the shift.
As a Line Operative, your duties will include:
- Boxing products at the end of the production line
- Stacking and organising the warehouse ready for delivery
- Heavy lifting and manual handling throughout the shift
- Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
- Adhering to all health and safety standards throughout the shift
To be considered as a Line Operative, you will need:
- Good physical strength and fitness – heavy lifting is a core requirement of this role
- Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment is advantageous
- Strong teamworking skills and the ability to work at pace
- A reliable, hardworking approach to work
