Job Description
Connect Appointments have a new opportunity available for a skilled Mechanical Fitter in Livingston. This is a unique opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter from a heavy manufacturing background to join one of the biggest companies in the UK in their industry!
Schedule: 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm
Pay rate: 19.63 per hour (PAYE), 24 per hour (CIS)
The ideal Mechanical Fitter will possess a solid background in site maintenance, covering pumps, compressors, mechanical drivers, hydraulics and pneumatics. The ideal candidate will also have:
- Served a recognised apprenticeship
- Previous experience working with fast-moving conveyor systems
- Basic 3-phase electrical experience (preferred but not essential)
- Experience in both preventative and reactive maintenance
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
