Connect Appointments are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their client's Aberdeen team - a leading Scottish provider of high-quality textile and linen services.

This is a hands-on role where you will keep production running smoothly, minimise downtime, and support continuous improvement across the site. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on all site equipment
- Respond quickly to breakdowns and ensure equipment reliability
- Use CMMS to maintain accurate records and analyse maintenance data
- Support root cause analysis and improvements to prevent recurring issues
- Work closely with production teams to maintain consistent performance
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards
- Flexibility to work weekends when needed
Qualifications:
To be successful in this Maintenance Engineer role, you will preferably have 5+ years mechanical and electrical engineering experience, combined with the following skills, traits and experience:
- Recognised engineering qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent)
- Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience (industrial production or laundry experience advantageous)
- Confident using CMMS systems
- Proactive, hands-on, solution-oriented approach
- Strong communication skills and team player
- Driving licence essential
