Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Electrician to join our Kinross based client. This is a full-time permanent opportunity, where you can expect 35 day's annual leave (including bank holidays), an attractive pension scheme and a salary of 44,000 DOE.
Working as a Senior Maintenance Electrician:
- Overseeing and working with electrical design plans to a strict schedule
- Identifying areas for improvement of current processes and methodologies
- Performing maintenance of equipment, diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Playing a key role in the recruitment, onboarding and training of new additions to the team
- Making sure that electrical equipment and control systems are performing to a satisfactory standard
- Completing all relevant paperwork and documentation
The successful Senior Maintenance Electrician will have previous experience in a similar electrical maintenance role, combined with:
- A valid 17th or 18th Edition, qualified to City & Guilds level or above
- The ability to produce, interpret and work to electrical drawings and specifications, including machine circuit drawings
- Previous experience working with variable drive systems and 3-phase supply systems
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and good practice
