Job Description
Connect Appointments have a new exciting opportunity for a reliable and experienced individual to become a Hygiene Operative with our Rosyth-based client, on a full-time basis.
Shifts available:
- 6am to 6:30pm; 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on / 2 days off 2 days on, 3 days off
- 7am to 4pm; Monday to Friday (with an early finish on Fridays)
- 6pm to 10pm/6:30pm to 10:30pm; Monday to Friday
Pay rates: 13.06 to 14.39 per hour
Your role as a Hygiene Operative is to ensure the environment is safe and clean to prevent a negative impact on quality standards. As such your duties will include:
- Clean all floors, walls and machinery on a rotational basis or as required – this will at times require working in confined spaces and at heights.
- Clean all spillages as and when required.
- Proactively respond to any incidents or environmental concerns which could negatively impact health and safety and quality standards – notifying management of any concerns.
- Complete daily paperwork; liaising with other areas to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Undertake any reasonable tasks as required and directed by management.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have strong experience within a similar role. Combined with:
- Experience of working to strict procedures and compliance requirements.
- Forklift license is advantageous but not required.
- Previous experience in confined spaces is advantageous but not required – full training is provided.
