Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced Industrial Services Operative to join our client's dynamic team in Govan. This is a hands-on role supporting a variety of industrial cleaning and maintenance projects across multiple sites.
What's on offer?
- A full-time permanent role - 40 hours per week
- Working Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm - with weekend work required
- Competitive hourly rate of pay at £14.70 per hour
- Overtime available, paid at £22.05 per hour

Responsibilities:
- Carrying out high-pressure water jetting, tank cleaning, and industrial services operations
- Operating equipment safely and efficiently in line with company procedures
- Working within confined spaces and hazardous environments when required
- Assisting with site preparation, equipment setup, and job completion
- Following strict Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards at all times
- Completing site documentation and supporting team leaders/supervisors
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in industrial cleaning and high-pressure water jetting operations
- Valid industry qualifications (e.g., high pressure water jetting, confined space, and CCNSG safety passport)
- Strong commitment to safety and safe working practices
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
- Physically fit, reliable, and willing to work in challenging environments
- Flexibility to travel and work varied hours/shifts as required
