Connect Appointments is recruiting a Forklift Driver to join an established manufacturing business based in East Kilbride.
What's on offer?
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm - early finish on Fridays
- 13.33 per hour , rising to 13.99 after probation (around 12 weeks)
As a Forklift Driver, your duties will include:
- Operating a Counterbalance forklift safely within a busy industrial environment
- Stacking, moving and relocating goods to designated storage and loading areas
- Unloading deliveries and consolidating partial pallets
- Keeping forklift operating areas clear of spills and obstructions
- Carrying out regular equipment checks and reporting any faults
To be considered as a Forklift Driver, you will need:
- A valid Counterbalance forklift licence is essential
- Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Good spatial awareness and attention to detail
- A solid understanding of warehouse health and safety requirements
