Gatehouse Security Operator

Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gatehouse Security Operator to join our client's security team based in East Kilbride.

Schedule: Shift times may vary

Pay rates: 12.48 per hour

As a Gatehouse Security Operator, you will be responsible for:

• Ensuring only authorised personnel are given access to the site
• Efficient operation of the fire alarm system
• Conducting patrols to ensure the site is secure for the protection of company assets
• Monitoring safe practice
• Assisting with personnel and vehicle checks as required

The ideal Gatehouse Security Operator will be experienced and have knowledge of security operations. You will assist with the efficient operation of the site, ensuring the protection of company assets in a safe and secure environment. You will also have:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to pay good attention to detail
• Motivation, the ability to be a self-starter
• A sound level of computer literacy
• The ability to remain calm under pressure
• Physically fit
