Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our Inverkeithing-based client. This is an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role within a busy, high-performing warehouse environment.
Whatβs on offer?
- Full-time permanent contract
- Working Sunday to Thursday, 05:45 to 14:00
- An annual salary of Β£30,000 per annum
Responsibilities:
- Communicate clearly across all teams and levels, showing strong leadership and teamwork
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, transport partners, and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly
- Manage warehouse operations in line with company policies and objectives
- Oversee goods in, storage, distribution, stock control, and maintenance
- Plan daily workloads and allocate tasks to meet operational targets
- Work closely with Customer Services to maintain clear customer and supplier communication
- Ensure accurate records and compliance with warehousing, handling, and shipping requirements
- Follow all business procedures and health & safety standards
- Maintain a strong focus on customer service, quality, productivity, and compliance
- Identify and escalate risks or issues to support continuous improvement
To be successful in this position, you will have the following skills, traits and experience:
- Experience in a food production environment
- Ability to assess risks, follow health & safety requirements
- Strong communication (written, verbal) and numerical skills
- Detail-focused with a logical, methodical approach to problem-solving
- Reliable and resilient, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Team player with a strong work ethic, flexible to learn and support multiple processes
- Positive, proactive, and committed to completing tasks to a high standard
