Connect Appointments are recruiting an experienced Electrical Assembly Technician to join our Tranent based manufacturing client.
What's on offer?
- Full-time ongoing position
- Working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm
- Paid at £12.50 per hour
As an Electrical Assembly Technician, you will be working within the production team to support the assembly and electrical wiring of a variety of products. Your day-to-day duties will include:
- Reading and following wiring diagrams, schematics, and build instructions
- Fitting looms, connectors, sensors, and control components
- Carrying out basic electrical checks and visual inspections
- Making sure all wiring meets quality, safety, and specification standards
- Helping the team stay on track to hit daily and weekly production targets
- Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and safe
- Working closely with other teams
To be successful, you will have previous experience in wiring, electrical assembly or manufacturing, combined with the following skills, traits and experiences:
- Happy to carry out repetitive tasks while paying close attention to detail
- Able to follow both written and verbal instructions
- A strong understanding of electrical safety within a manufacturing environment
- Good with your hands and enjoy practical, hands-on work
