Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for a Supervisor to join our client's team in East Kilbride. This is a key operational role where you'll support a team of employees, ensuring morale and performance is high and staff training is completed.
What's on offer?
- Working Monday to Friday, from 7:45am to 1:45pm

In this varied Supervisor role, your duties will include:
- Managing a team of employees ensuring morale and performance is high
- Carrying out any training and/or inductions for new and existing warehouse staff
- Organising order priorities, storage and staff in line with customer demand
- Supervising Goods In through to despatch and all operational areas
- Scheduling workload and staffing levels for warehouse and drivers
- Taking responsibility for disciplinary, timekeeping and grievance procedures
To succeed in this Supervisor role, you will have experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment, with ideally 2-years in warehouse management experience. Combined with the following skills, experience and traits:
- Experience with ERP system would be a distinct advantage
- Real people person and able to build relationships and communicate effectively with those around you
- Proven experience of leading or managing a team in a supportive and engaging manner
- Lead by example and take pride in the quality of your work
- Very organised, detail oriented and a strong planner
- Prior experience of working in a fast-paced warehousing environment
- You have extensive experience of stock management systems
- Health and safety are always at the forefront of everything we do
