Connect Appointments is recruiting a Data Erasure Technician to join an established IT asset management business based in East Kilbride, on a temporary to permanent basis.
What’s on offer?
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
- Monday to Friday, 7:45am to 3:45pm
- Paid weekly at £12.71 per hour
- Hands-on experience with IT hardware and data security processes
As a Data Erasure Technician, your duties will include:
- Identifying key system components including HDDs, SSDs, RAM and CPUs
- Erasing data in line with customer requirements and company policy
- Using Windows-based systems to update client databases and records
- Meeting daily productivity targets while maintaining accuracy
To be considered as a Data Erasure Technician, you will need:
- A good working knowledge of computer hardware
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to work at pace in a busy environment
