Connect Appointments is recruiting Driver's Mates for ongoing temporary work with an established delivery business based in Cumbernauld.
Our client operates a busy delivery operation, requiring reliable and customer-focused individuals to support drivers across a 5-days-out-of-7 working pattern.
What's on offer?
- Ongoing temporary position
- 5 days out of 7 - 7am starts
- £12.81 per hour - paid weekly
- Overtime paid at £19.22 per hour
As a Driver's Mate, your duties will include:
- Assisting with the delivery and transportation of goods to customer locations
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Providing a professional and courteous service directly to customers
- Supporting the driver with navigation and paperwork as required
To be considered as a Driver's Mate, you will need:
- Good physical fitness due to the manual nature of the role
- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-facing manner
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
