Job Description

Connect Appointments is recruiting Warehouse Operatives to join an established logistics business based in Bathgate.

Working within the warehouse team, you'll be receiving deliveries, booking stock in using handheld scanners and making sure everything is put away accurately across a busy distribution centre.

You'll work across ambient, chilled and frozen areas, with full training and PPE provided.

What's on offer?

  • Full-time ongoing position with the opportunity for permanent employment
  • Working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis (including weekends)
  • Choice of two shifts: 5am to 2pm OR 11am to 8pm
  • Paid weekly at 15.20 to 19 per hour
  • Paid breaks and full in-house MHE training provided

Please note: This role involves working across temperature-controlled areas including chilled and frozen environments - full PPE is provided.

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include

  • Receiving and processing inbound deliveries safely and efficiently
  • Booking stock into the warehouse using handheld scanning technology
  • Verifying stock quantities and investigating any discrepancies
  • Moving stock to designated locations using a variety of MHE
  • Completing stock checks and maintaining location accuracy
  • Supporting warehouse selection activities when required

To be considered as a Warehouse Operative, you will need

  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy
  • Confidence using handheld scanners and warehouse management systems
  • The ability to carry out manual handling throughout your shift
  • Flexibility to work across both shift patterns including weekends
  • Previous Goods In, inbound or warehouse experience is required
  • MHE experience including PPT, Reach Truck or Counterbalance highly beneficial
