We’re looking for a Senior Blockchain Engineer with a strong get-stuff-done mentality and a passion for innovation. You’ll play a key role in designing, building, and optimising smart contracts and blockchain infrastructure in a fast-moving DeFi environment.
You’ll collaborate closely with senior product leadership, product teams, and fellow engineers to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance decentralised solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Design and optimise blockchain architecture with scalability, security, and performance in mind
- Lead development, auditing, and integration of smart contracts within decentralised protocols
- Conduct technical research and PoC experiments while applying blockchain best practices
- Build and improve cross-chain solutions (swaps, bridges, interoperability tools)
- Develop gas-optimised algorithms and smart contracts
- Define and implement CI/CD pipelines for blockchain development
- Identify and mitigate potential security risks and attack vectors
- Stay ahead of emerging blockchain, Web3, and crypto technologies
- Perform in-depth code reviews and mentor other engineers
- Work closely with auditors and cross-functional teams to support successful launches
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years in blockchain
- Strong knowledge of blockchain ecosystems, smart contracts, and dApps
- Hands-on experience with Ethereum, Layer 2 solutions (Optimistic & ZK rollups), and cross-chain protocols
- Proven experience in technical leadership and architectural decision-making
- Solid background in blockchain security and smart contract auditing
- Solidity, Yul, Rust, TypeScript
- Smart contract frameworks: Foundry, Hardhat
- Deep understanding of DeFi protocols, AMMs, liquidity pools, and oracles
- Blockchain security principles and audit methodologies
- Experience building high-performance distributed systems
