About the role and team:
We are seeking a confident and driven sales individual to join our regional sales team as a Business Development Manager. As the face of our brand, you will deliver excellent service and sell our products to grow new and existing customer accounts. You will thrive at working in the field and can expect three to four days on the road within the Southeast region. Although this is a regional role, it will also require occasional visits to our Birmingham offices and Distribution centre.
The role will involve:
- Continually develop and grow all existing and new accounts within your geographical territory
- Converting prospects into successful customers through customer sales methods such as door-to-door, cold calling and presentations
- Building and maintaining a strong sales pipeline to ensure targets are achieved
- Preparing and presenting proposals, presentations, and quotations to potential customers
- Developing service, retail, web and new sector customers
To be successful for this role you will:
- Have previous B2B product sales experience
- Strong customer orientation and relationship building skills
- Self-motivated to work independently and part of a team in a fast paced, changing environment
