Connect 4 Aviation has an exciting permanent opportunity for a B1 Licensed Engineer based in South Wales, UK. Ideally with B737NG type rating, but type training can be offered for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly professional base maintenance organisation in the UK, working within a fast-paced and supportive environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in base maintenance activities on B737NG aircraft.

Role- B1 Licensed Engineer (B737NG)
- Contract Type β Permanent
- Salary β Β£83,420 per annum
- Sponsorship β Available for eligible international candidates
Engineers will work seasonal shift patterns from September to May, with a refresher training block in August.
Role Responsibilities- Lead and supervise technicians and mechanics during base maintenance inputs
- Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately and in line with company procedures and Part-145 regulations
- Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety standards, promoting a safe and efficient working environment
- Support defect investigation, repairs, modifications, and overhaul activities
- Liaise with Bay Managers and Production Planners to communicate progress and resolve potential issues
- Take responsibility for aircraft component handling, ensuring correct storage, availability, and serviceability
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, processes, and team morale
- Minimum of 5 years aircraft maintenance experience
- At least 3 yearsβ experience in a base maintenance environment
- Valid B1 AML (UK CAA or EASA)
- B737NG type rating with recent experience (Ideally)
- Proven capability in fault diagnosis, component replacement, modifications, and aircraft systems
