We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Mechanic with a minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience to join our growing maintenance team. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and airworthiness of commercial aircraft through high-quality inspection, maintenance, and repair activities. This role involves performing base maintenance on a variety of Boeing and Airbus aircraft types.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine and non-routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on aircraft systems and components.
- Diagnose mechanical and system issues using approved tooling, manuals, and techniques.
- Replace, install, or repair defective parts in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Perform scheduled servicing in line with manufacturer instructions and UK/EASA regulatory standards.
- Accurately complete all required maintenance documentation and records.
- Support troubleshooting activities and contribute to effective technical solutions.
- Ensure the work area, tools, and equipment remain clean, safe, and well-organised.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial aircraft maintenance — B737NG or A320 experience highly desirable.
- Previous experience in base maintenance operations preferred.
- Must have the legal right to live and work in the UK.
- Strong understanding of aircraft systems and ability to interpret and work from approved maintenance documentation.
- Successful completion of recognised aeronautical training such as:
- City & Guilds Level 3
- BTEC Level 3
- Aeronautical apprenticeship programme
- Relevant engineering degree
