Connect 2U Recruitment are currently looking for a full time Gardener in the Loughton, Essex area. You will be working at properties and parks around the borough of Epping. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves nurturing plants, maintaining gardens, and ensuring that outdoor spaces are both beautiful and healthy. The Gardener will work closely with other team members to create and sustain vibrant landscapes.
Duties:
- Cultivate and maintain gardens, including planting, watering, and fertilizing plants.
- Operate and maintain various power tools and hand tools for gardening tasks.
- Perform grounds keeping duties, including mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and clearing debris.
Experience:
- Previous experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with various gardening techniques, including growing plants from seeds or cuttings.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance is advantageous.
- A strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards in all gardening tasks.
Up to £31k per year with opportunity to earn a performance related cash bonus of up to 15% of salary.
