An independent prep school in Inner London is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher with Head of Maths responsibility to join the school from September 2026. This position is offered as maternity cover and presents an exciting opportunity for an Upper Key Stage 2 teacher looking to take on a leadership role within a warm and supportive school community.

This is a unique opportunity as the successful candidate will be teaching the school's first ever Year 6 cohort. Alongside teaching Year 6, the successful candidate will take responsibility for leading Maths across the school, including:
- Leading and developing Mathematics teaching and learning
- Overseeing the Maths curriculum, schemes of work and resources
- Monitoring and analysing assessment and attainment data
- Supporting colleagues with effective Maths teaching strategies
- Promoting a love of Maths through competitions, challenges and enrichment opportunities
