About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, confident and passionate Nursery Manager to lead our friendly 60-place nursery in Romford. This is an exciting opportunity for a strong early years leader who can inspire a team, maintain high standards of care and education, and ensure every child is supported to thrive in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment.
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery, leading the staff team, supporting children's learning and development, building strong relationships with families, and ensuring full compliance with EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and motivate the nursery team to deliver outstanding early years care and education.
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day operation of the 60-place setting, ensuring high standards across all rooms.
- Ensure full compliance with the EYFS statutory framework, safeguarding procedures, health and safety requirements and Ofsted standards.
- Act as a strong role model, promoting a positive, professional and supportive team culture.
- Manage staff rotas, ratios, performance, supervisions, appraisals and ongoing training needs.
