The Role
- Teaching Maths across the appropriate age range (KS3-KS5 depending on experience)
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that stretch and challenge pupils
- Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on pupil progress
- Contributing to the wider life of the school and Maths department
- Supporting curriculum development and enrichment opportunities within Mathematics
- Maintaining high expectations for achievement, behaviour, and effort
Person Specification
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
- Ability to deliver consistently high-quality teaching
- Commitment to academic excellence and high standards
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- A collaborative and positive approach to working within a department
- Experience in, or aspiration to work within, an independent school environment (desirable)
