Connaught Resourcing are currently working with a large ambulance service in The East Midlands. We are looking for experienced Paramedics and RGNs with emergency or urgent care experience who are interested in working as Telephone Triage Clinicians to support the 999 service taking category 2 calls.

You will be responsible for calling back patients and triaging them to ensure they are on the correct pathway.

In order to qualify for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Be a registered Nurse or Paramedic with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience
  • Have emergency or urgent care experience; primary care experience will be considered
  • Telephone triage experience is desirable but not essential
  • Be available to start training at the end of July
  • Be able to travel to Nottingham or Lincoln as this position is an on-site role
  • Be available to work a minimum of 30 hours per week

Training is due to start on 28th July and we will be looking for Clinicians to support the service for a minimum of 3 months. The service is 24/7. Our client is able to book a rota in advance, and based on current availability we can comfortably accommodate most requests including 12-hour shifts.

You will need to be available for 2 weeks of full-time training. The training and mentoring is scheduled Monday - Friday 08.30-16.30. The course will start on Monday 28th July and you will need to be available for the duration of the course.
