We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming 60-place nursery for an experienced and motivated Nursery Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident childcare professional to lead a dedicated team, maintain high standards of care and education, and support the continued success of the nursery.
Salary: £45,000 per year
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am-6:00pm
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for all children.
- Support, motivate and develop the nursery team, promoting best practice and high-quality childcare.
- Ensure the nursery meets all regulatory requirements, including safeguarding, health and safety, and Ofsted standards.
- Oversee planning, assessment and delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum.
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, staff and external professionals.
- Manage occupancy, staffing, budgets and nursery resources effectively.
- Promote a positive, inclusive culture where children and staff can thrive.
About You:
The successful candidate will have previous nursery management experience, strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for delivering excellent outcomes for children. A relevant childcare qualification and a sound understanding of early years standards and safeguarding expectations are essential.
