Connaught Education is currently recruiting an experienced Physics Teacher to join a leading international online school. While the role is fully remote, successful candidates must be based in, or willing to relocate to, the UAE at very short notice.
Role Overview
- Position: Physics Teacher
- Location: United Arab Emirates (remote working from home)
- Start Date: 1 September 2026
- Contract: 2-year fixed-term contract
- Tax-free Basic Salary: (phone number removed) AED per annum
- Additional Benefits: Housing allowance, utilities allowance, private medical insurance, flights, and other international relocation benefits, plus a 10% antisocial hours allowance.
The overall package is broadly comparable to a UK salary in the region of £50,000-£60,000+, before taking the additional benefits into account.
The successful candidate will teach Physics up to Year 13 through live, interactive online lessons to students across the Middle East, Southeast Asia and the UK. Due to the timetable supporting students in Southeast Asia, the working day typically begins at 5:00am UAE time and finishes at approximately 1:30pm, with some flexibility depending on the timetable.
We are particularly keen to hear from teachers who are already based in the UAE. However, we would also be delighted to speak with candidates currently in the UK who are happy to relocate in time for the 1 September 2026 start date.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience teaching Physics up to A Level/Year 13.
- Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent).
- Strong communication and online teaching skills.
- Confidence using technology to deliver engaging virtual lessons.
- A passion for delivering outstanding teaching and supporting student success.
