How to prepare for a job interview at Connaught Resourcing Ltd (Education)

✨Know Your Early Years Stuff

Make sure you brush up on your knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and current childcare practices. Being able to discuss specific frameworks and how you've implemented them in previous roles will show that you're not just experienced, but also passionate about early childhood education.

✨Showcase Your Leadership Skills

As a Nursery Manager, you'll need to demonstrate strong leadership abilities. Prepare examples of how you've successfully led a team, managed conflicts, or improved nursery operations. Use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) to structure your responses for clarity.

✨Understand the Location

Research the specific area of London where the nursery is located. Each community has its own unique needs and challenges. Showing that you understand the local demographic and how it impacts childcare can set you apart from other candidates.

✨Prepare Questions for Them

Interviews are a two-way street! Prepare thoughtful questions about their nursery's philosophy, staff development opportunities, and how they support their managers. This not only shows your interest but also helps you gauge if the nursery is the right fit for you.
