The Role

  • Teaching Maths across the appropriate age range (KS3-KS5 depending on experience)
  • Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that stretch and challenge pupils
  • Monitoring, assessing, and reporting on pupil progress
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school and Maths department
  • Supporting curriculum development and enrichment opportunities within Mathematics
  • Maintaining high expectations for achievement, behaviour, and effort

Person Specification

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics
  • Ability to deliver consistently high-quality teaching
  • Commitment to academic excellence and high standards
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • A collaborative and positive approach to working within a department
  • Experience in, or aspiration to work within, an independent school environment (desirable)
