Connaught Education is proud to be partnered with one of the most established, revered, and academically successful private fifth and sixth form colleges in the UK to appoint a Designated Safeguarding Lead on a permanent basis.

The college in question is the foremost independent college in London, with exceptional academic outcomes and pastoral care for day and boarding students.

An accomplished Designated Safeguarding Lead is required to lead on and provide oversight of all child protection and safeguarding matters within the college. The appointed Designated Safeguarding Lead will be a sensitive liaison between pupils, families, staff and leadership.

The successful Designated Safeguarding Lead will have considerable relevant professional experience in an educational setting, a Level 3 or equivalent DSL training and an in-depth knowledge of ISI standards.

The new Designated Safeguarding Lead will receive an attractive salary as well as the following benefits:
