Connaught Education is currently supporting one of the foremost independent colleges in London to appoint a Mathematics Graduate Teacher on a permanent basis, the role is due to start as soon as possible depending on notice periods. The college has a university-style ethos, empowering students with an air of informality which produces outstanding academic results allowing pupils to go on to the best universities in the UK and across the world. Mathematics is an important part of school life; it is a highly popular subject area and exam results are consistently amongst the best in the country.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Mathematics to small classes of highly engaged and enthusiastic Key Stage 5 students.
- Use innovative teaching methods to support student learning and achievement.
- Assess student progress, prepare and mark examinations, and contribute to curriculum planning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s academic standards.
Qualifications
- Strong academic history with an excellent degree in a relevant subject area.
- Expertise in Mathematics and a passion for teaching.
- A-Level teaching experience highly desirable; QTS not required.
