Some people are quite hospitable. However, you orchestrate a mood—elegance, ease, and the quiet joy of being looked after. We’re looking for a refined, service-driven Hospitality Manager to lead the bistro, bar and front-of-house experience at Connaught Care—a luxury, all-inclusive care home group that treats hospitality not as a department, but as a philosophy.
With six beautifully designed homes open and six more on the way, Connaught is redefining later life with five-star service, elegant surroundings, and the warmth of meaningful human connection. At the heart of it? Of course our exceptional care.... but also our bistros and bars—where birthdays are toasted, friendships are formed, and every cappuccino comes with care.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Manage all daily operations of the bistro and bar area, ensuring a polished, welcoming, and resident-first environment
- Lead and support the hospitality team to deliver seamless table service, exceptional drinks, and memorable mealtime experiences
- Curate seasonal food and drinks offerings in collaboration with the culinary team
- Champion standards of cleanliness, presentation, and professionalism across all front-of-house areas
- Coordinate events, themed afternoons, cocktail hours and special celebrations to bring the space to life
- Build strong relationships with residents and their families, offering warm, attentive and personalised service
- Maintain stock control, order supplies, manage budgets, and report on performance with precision and flair
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience in managing hospitality or front-of-house operations (in hotels, restaurants, care, or cruise ships a strong plus)
- A passion for great service and an intuitive understanding of what makes people feel seen, welcome and well cared for
- Excellent leadership skills—able to inspire, train and support a small-ish, high-performing team
- A natural eye for detail, from the shine on a glass to the tone of a welcome
- A flexible, can-do attitude and the ability to remain calm and elegant under pressure
Why Connaught?
Because here, mealtimes are more than menus—they’re moments. Our bistros and bars aren’t afterthoughts—they’re the heart of our homes. As Hospitality Manager, you’ll play a central role in making our residents (and their loved ones) feel not just cared for, but cherished.
You’ll work in a stunning environment, with autonomy, trust, and the chance to lead something special—bringing energy, empathy and five-star finesse to every shift. And of course, you’ll be part of a culture that helps you Live a Life More Extraordinary too.
If you believe hospitality should be heartfelt, that great service is never just about the service, and you love bringing joy to the everyday—we’d love to hear from you.
