Some people see an event. You see purpose, belonging, and the joy of being part of something bigger. We’re looking for a visionary and organised Events Manager to lead, elevate, and embed extraordinary experiences across our homes at Connaught Care—a luxury, all-inclusive care home group that’s rewriting what later life can feel like.
With six beautifully designed homes already open and six more on the way, Connaught blends elegant hospitality with exceptional care. Our promise is simple: to help every resident Live a Life More Extraordinary—and your events will be at the very heart of that promise. This isn’t about entertainment for the sake of filling time. It’s about meaningfully enriching lives, bringing communities together, and delivering emotionally intelligent and personalised moments that residents will remember—and families will talk about.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop and lead an in-home events plan that balances creativity, inclusion, and emotional efficiency
- Oversee the design and delivery of vibrant, engaging events across your home, in collaboration with your team of Events Coordinators
- Personalise event programming around residents’ life stories, interests, and wellbeing needs
- Build strong relationships with external entertainers, schools, charities, and community partners
- Champion intergenerational and inclusive events that bring our homes to life
- Manage event budgets, resources, calendars, and promotional materials with finesse
- Track engagement, feedback, and ROI to drive continuous improvement
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience managing events at scale, ideally across multiple sites or within hospitality, care, or lifestyle sectors
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills—able to inspire, coordinate, and bring people together
- A warm, people-first approach with high emotional intelligence
- Operational savvy and creative thinking in equal measure
- Passion for working with older adults and understanding of their diverse needs, including dementia-friendly practice
- A genuine love of celebration, connection, and making people feel special
Why Connaught?
We don’t believe events are a “nice to have”—we believe they’re essential to wellbeing. At Connaught, you’ll have the freedom to innovate, the support to succeed, and a team that shares your belief that life in care should be rich in joy, laughter, meaning and community. This is more than a job—it’s a chance to build a culture of celebration, one unforgettable moment at a time. If you’re equal parts creative and organised, strategically sharp—and believe that joy is just as important as care—we’d love to hear from you.
