Some people give care. You lead it— with purpose, presence, and a calm hand when it matters most. We’re looking for a thoughtful, proactive Senior Lead to help guide and support our care team on the floor—setting the tone, raising the bar, and quietly ensuring every resident experiences the best of what Connaught Care has to offer.
This is more than a step up. It’s a pivotal leadership role at the heart of one of the UK’s most ambitious luxury care providers. With six stunning homes already open and six more on the way, Connaught Care is redefining what later life can look like—elegant, joyful, human, and filled with purpose.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead daily care delivery on the floor, ensuring every shift runs smoothly, safely, and with warmth.
- Support, coach and supervise care teams—role modelling best practice and promoting a positive, resident-focused culture.
- Act as the senior point of contact in the absence of more senior management.
- Assist with medication administration, handovers, documentation, and care planning.
- Identify concerns, elevate appropriately, and help problem-solve in the moment.
- Build strong relationships with residents and families, offering reassurance, dignity, and clear communication.
- Support staff performance and development through informal mentoring and feedback.
What You’ll Bring:
- Previous experience in a senior care role (such as Team Leader or Senior Carer).
- Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Essential).
- An unrivalled attention to detail.
- A calm, confident presence and a natural ability to lead by example.
- Passion for exceptional, person-centred care—especially for older adults and those living with dementia.
- Strong communication, time management, and team coordination skills.
- The ability to think clearly under pressure, and to bring others with you.
Why Connaught?
We believe leadership isn’t about titles—it’s about behaviour, tone, and how you make people feel. That’s why our Senior Leads play such a vital role in our homes: they carry the culture, keep things steady, and make care feel human.
At Connaught, you’ll be supported by senior managers who know your name, a team who trusts your judgment, and a working environment that’s beautiful, uplifting, and built around you, not just the rota. You’ll also have access to learning, development, and real career progression—because great leadership deserves to go places.
If you’re ready to lead with kindness, act with purpose, and make each shift feel like a step forward—we’d love to hear from you.
