Some people go to work. You make someone feel safe, seen, and loved—often before breakfast. We're looking for kind, thoughtful, quietly brilliant Care Assistants on Days and Nights to join the team at Connaught Care —a luxury, all-inclusive care home group where exceptional care isn't a target. It's a standard. And a calling.

With six stunning homes already open and six more in the making, Connaught is one of the UK's most ambitious and experience-led care providers. Our homes are elegant, calm, and beautifully run—but it's our people, not our chandeliers, that make them extraordinary.

As a Care Assistant, you'll be at the heart of it all. Helping residents feel safe, respected, and cherished. Supporting their independence, wellbeing, comforting them when they're unsure, and brightening their mornings with something as simple as a genuine smile.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Deliver compassionate, person-centred care that honours dignity and individuality.
  • Support residents with daily living tasks including washing, dressing, mobility and meals.
  • Build meaningful, trusting relationships with residents and families.
  • Spot the small things—mood changes, unspoken needs, quiet triumphs—and respond with empathy.
  • Work closely with your team to ensure every shift runs smoothly, safely and supportively.
  • Keep accurate records and contribute to care plans that reflect who each resident truly is.

What You'll Bring:

  • A caring, warm-hearted nature and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, reassuring presence.
  • Willingness to learn (experience in care is great, but not essential—we provide full training).
  • Respect, reliability, and the ability to be present, even during life's tougher moments.
  • A team spirit—because great care is never delivered alone.

Why Connaught?

Because here, care is not just a job—it's an art. It's about knowing that a hand held at the right moment can matter more than a thousand words. It's about understanding that dignity doesn't live in policy—it lives in presence.

At Connaught, you'll be supported by a nurturing team, trained to exceptional standards, and treated with the same respect and care we ask you to show others. You'll work in beautiful surroundings, enjoy consistent shifts, and go home each day knowing your work truly changed someone's life—for the better.

Here, you help our residents Live a Life More Extraordinary. And in doing so, you might just do the same for yourself. If you care deeply, act gently, and want to be part of something meaningful—we'd love to welcome you.

Benefits Include:

  • Pay enhancements for Bank Holidays
  • Free on-site meals
  • Free uniform
  • Free DBS check
  • Annual Pay Reviews
  • Continuous training and progression opportunities
  • Annual Health Checks for all staff
  • Salary sacrifice schemes including Pension, Childcare, Grocery, EV, and more.
  • A personalised financial well-being platform
  • Access to a 24/7 GP
  • An enhanced EAP with up to 10 free counselling sessions
  • Life insurance of up to 4X your salary
  • Access to digital cognitive behavioural therapy
  • Personalised Life and Leadership coaching
  • YuLife rewards - get rewarded to meditate, do puzzles, and exercise

All applicants must be able to demonstrate their right to live and work in the UK. We cannot sponsor. Due to the nature of the role, this position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
