Some people answer phones. You set the tone—for every guest, every family, and every moment that follows. We’re looking for a warm, professional, and emotionally intelligent Receptionist to become the face of our home at Connaught Care—a luxury, all‑inclusive care home group where hospitality is heartfelt, and first impressions are everything. With six beautifully designed homes already open and six more on the way, Connaught is one of the UK’s most ambitious care providers. Our homes are elegant, welcoming, and deeply human—and the person behind the front desk is often the first signal of that. Whether it’s a relative arriving for a visit, a new team member walking through the door, or a delivery driver in need of a smile, you are the calm centre of it all.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Greet residents, families, visitors, and colleagues with warmth, professionalism, and a friendly smile.
  • Answer calls, emails and face‑to‑face queries promptly and helpfully—always with a personal touch.
  • Manage front‑of‑house systems including sign‑in, bookings, post, and deliveries.
  • Maintain a beautifully presented reception area that reflects the standard of the home.
  • Support general administrative tasks, from printing and filing to light diary coordination.
  • Work closely with care, hospitality, and management teams to ensure smooth communication and a joined‑up resident experience.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Previous experience in a front‑of‑house or receptionist role (hospitality, care or hotel setting a bonus).
  • A calm, confident manner and a talent for putting people at ease.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Discretion, professionalism, and a natural instinct for great service.
  • A team mindset—you’ll be part of something bigger, and happy to support wherever needed.

Why Connaught?

Because we believe that luxury care starts the moment someone walks through the door. As one of our Receptionists, you’ll be more than a point of contact—you’ll be the atmosphere, the welcome, the reassurance that this is a place where people are truly cared for. You’ll work in beautiful surroundings, with a supportive leadership team, structured hours (no shift chaos here!), and the chance to grow within a brand that truly values people. Here, you’ll help every visitor and resident Live a Life More Extraordinary—starting with their very first “hello”. If you’re warm, poised, people‑focused, and passionate about great service—we’d love to hear from you.

Benefits Include:

  • Pay enhancements for Bank Holidays
  • Free on‑site meals
  • Free uniform
  • Free DBS check
  • Annual Pay Reviews
  • Continuous training and progression opportunities
  • Annual Health Checks for all staff
  • Salary sacrifice schemes including Pension, Childcare, Grocery, EV, and more.

  • Access to a 24/7 GP
  • An enhanced EAP with up to 10 free counselling sessions
  • Life insurance of up to 4X your salary
  • Access to digital cognitive behavioural therapy
