Job Summary: As an Orthopaedic Territory Sales Manager (Sports Medicine) for CONMED UK&I, you will play a pivotal role in promoting and selling our innovative products across your designated territory; West Midlands. You will provide exceptional customer service and hands-on support, conducting product demonstrations and assisting in clinical settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and drive sales of CONMED's products within the Orthopaedic portfolio whilst maintaining and growing existing business.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans, setting clear goals to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Take full ownership of growing your territory by organising meetings, conducting product training sessions, and delivering clinical support.
- Successfully set up and manage product trials.
- Represent CONMED at key industry events, congresses, and exhibitions, providing technical demonstrations and deep insight into the CONMED Orthopaedic portfolio.
- Maintain and update the Salesforce CRM Platform to effectively manage your sales pipeline, tracking opportunities, and reporting on progress.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and the delivery of high-quality products and service.
- Participate in ongoing learning initiatives to stay updated with the latest products and market trends.
- Ensure consistent quota achievement.
- Submit weekly reports on territory activity to the Orthopaedic Regional Sales Manager – UK&I, as well as other stakeholders.
- Adhere to and uphold all company policies and regulatory standards, including business conduct, corporate ethics, quality system compliance, and regulatory affairs.
Person Specification:
Education / Qualifications:
- Desirable: Professional sales qualification. Registered clinical and/or sports science qualification.
- Essential: Educated to degree level or equivalent. A full, valid UK driving licence.
Experience, Skill, knowledge and attributes:
- Desirable: Experience within Orthopaedic MedTech sales. Experience within Physiotherapy, Strength & Conditioning, or similar.
- Essential: A good understanding of anatomy. Minimum of 3 years proven B2B sales experience, with evidence of consistent quota achievement. Has experience with CRM systems. Strong communication and presentation skills. Results-oriented with a strong drive to achieve and exceed goals. Self-driven and a positive mindset. Excellent time management and ability to effectively prioritize. Exercises strong decision-making skills. Exceptional focus and ability to bring tasks to completion. Has a genuine interest in and derives energy from building relationships and networks. Has a strong desire to create value for the customer. Enjoys working in a team and sees collaboration as a key success factor. Can travel and spend time in the district.
