Are you an experienced General Manager looking for a new challenge? My client has recently purchased 7 hotels and one of the hotels within its portfolio is in Suffolk. They are looking to develop the new style for the business with this property at the forefront of defining the new business style. It will be based on a London boutique model so it is an amazing opportunity and a great investment-led group to be part of. You will have a background in quality properties with a strong F&B & Leisure background. You will be used to working in a fast-paced property and strive to ensure you excel in meeting our customers' needs. You will understand how to grow revenue streams and this property will top out at its initial phase at a turnover around £6M.

Main Responsibilities

  • Optimize commercial activities within a very competitive environment to ensure the property's objectives are met.
  • Monitor and maximize the profitability of all departments.
  • Lead with an active role in forecasting, budgeting and reporting for the hotel.
  • Develop an effective, cohesive & competent team.
  • Ensure all standards and procedures are met.
  • Embrace and focus on the highest levels of quality in respect to both the hard and soft aspects of the business.

About You

  • Previous experience as General Manager in a Boutique Hotel with an understanding of the emerging marketplace.
  • Strong F&B and used to driving new revenue streams.
  • Great P&L knowledge.
  • Ability to lead, coach and animate the hotel team.
  • Passionate, with a hands-on approach.
  • Has a personal commitment to hospitality, customer service & quality.
  • Strong business acumen combined with excellent leadership and liaison skills.
