Title: Senior Campaign Delivery & Channel Manager

12 month fixed-term contract

Salary: £45- 50k

The V&A East — opening at the heart of East Bank in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park — will be a new kind of museum: bold, inclusive, and rooted in the creativity and culture of East London. Our launch programme, including the inaugural exhibition The Music Is Black, will celebrate the art, sound, and stories that shape our world.

The Museum is looking for a Senior Campaign Delivery & Channel Manager to play a central role in bringing this vision to life.

Sitting at the intersection of marketing, partnerships, digital innovation, and community engagement, you’ll lead the delivery of major multi-channel campaigns that drive reach, resonance, and real connection with audiences — especially young, local, and diverse communities.

What you’ll do

  • Own the end-to-end campaign and launch plan for V&A East, from strategy and creative development to delivery and reporting.
  • Bring together specialists across digital, social, outdoor, partnerships, and PR to deliver powerful, integrated campaigns.
  • Lead on partnership marketing — from East Bank and Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to youth-focused brands and sponsors.
  • Manage budgets, agencies, and cross-team delivery to ensure campaigns land on time, on brand, and on budget.
  • Oversee channel strategy across paid, earned, shared, and owned media — with a sharp eye on data, performance, and impact.
  • Champion authentic community storytelling by embedding local voices and creative collaborators into the campaign.
  • Partner with schools, colleges, and grassroots organisations to ensure our work truly reflects and celebrates East London’s cultural richness.

What we’re looking for

  • A proven track record of leading complex, high-profile campaign launches or major cultural events.
  • Expertise in digital marketing, social media, and analytics.
  • Experience managing creative and media agencies.
  • Exceptional project management skills — with a talent for stakeholder coordination and delivery under pressure.
  • Deep understanding of audience development and an authentic commitment to engaging diverse and underrepresented communities.
  • A collaborator at heart, who shares our V&A values of Sustainability, Equity, Creativity, Collaboration, and Generosity.

Desirable

  • Knowledge of East London’s creative landscape and audiences.
  • Residency in one of our local boroughs (Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets, or Waltham Forest).

Ready to make an impact?

This is your chance to help shape one of the most exciting cultural launches in the UK - working with a team that believes in creativity as a force for connection and change. You’ll play a pivotal role in how the world experiences V&A East, from our opening exhibition to our ongoing relationship with local communities.

Please note: due to the expected high volume of applications, we may be unable to respond to every applicant individually.
